TecnoService resin block transformers are designed to operate dependably under the most severe conditions. The exterior is cast from a high-tech resin and coated with a ceramic compound.
The result a new concept transformer which can operate reliably under extended temperatures ranging from – 30’Cto +100‘C (-22’F to +212’F), as demonstrated under rigid laboratory testing conditions.
The solid resin body provides insulation measured at 40,000 V per mm of thickness, a value rivalled by few other commercial products. The resin compound, together with the ceramic surface, provides outstanding flame retardancy.
TecnoService’s commitment to safety is reflected in each unit. Electrical connections are self-contained, and each transformer has a primary disconnect, secondary ground-fault protection and optional open circuit protection.
The protection features are built into a modular unit, which can be replaced without replacing the entire transformer.
